This better mean that Qatar is delivering a "yes" from Hamas on the war deal. The entire point of Qatar is that they are an intermediary to our enemies. If they can't bring our enemies on side when we need them to, they're useless to us. 

Providing security guarantees to Qatar when they can't even do the one thing they're good for is nuts. We're just letting them play us like a fiddle. (Though I guess it's not surprising, given the depth of their bribery of our elites.)

All the comments so far are tying this to the Jet they gave Trump, but based off of the timing, I can't help but think this is due to Israel.


They did do an airstrike on Hamas leadership in Qatar recently, this could be a way of indirectly telling Israel that strikes on Qatar won't be tolerated going forward. It's also probably meant to mend relations with Qatar as it's a reasonable assumption that they didn't consent to being bombed.


We don't want to tell Middle East nations that being America's friend means you that get bombed anyway.

I'm not necessarily against agreements like this if they work as a method to bring countries into closer ties with the West and improve democracy and regional security.

I also think Trump doesn't care about any of that and is motivated by the plane he was gifted, the golf course he's building there, and trying to win a nobel prize.
